There will be blood is a master work from director Paul Thomas Anderson. With actor Daniel Day-Lewis in the title role, who gives a stimulating performance. Daniel Day-Lewis's character plays a self made oil tycoon, we watch his progression from a mere well hand to a rich capitalist businessman.The film features stunning performances from all the cast and sets itself in the rugged, dessolate terrain of the deep south. The film was sometimes slow but didn't detract from the story or cause the overall film to suffer. It just wouldn't apeal to younger people or people with short attention spans. Overall, brilliant acting, ingaging story, gorgeous cinimatography and thought provoking symbolism! Top notch.
